Our veterans have sacrificed so much for us. They have stood on the frontlines to protect the liberties we cherish, and now it’s our turn to honor them with a place of remembrance, respect, and gratitude right here in our community.

The Glades Historical Society was honored to receive $61,000 from the first annual Torry Island BBQ Showdown! This generous contribution will help preserve and celebrate the rich history of the Glades, ensuring that future generations can learn about our community’s heritage.
